Hi, I am Bjarndís Helena Hönnudóttir Mikaelsdóttir Mackinnon Mitchell
I am an Icelandic-Scottish entrepreneur with a global upbringing and a passion for travel, innovation, and sustainability.
Born in Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland, I spent my childhood exploring diverse cultures in Iceland, England, and Kenya. This global exposure instilled in me a deep appreciation for different perspectives, shaping my entrepreneurial spirit and desire to connect with people worldwide.
My entrepreneurial journey began with Handlers, a company dedicated to crafting custom dog leads. Our commitment to quality and innovation earned us recognition from the American Pet Association and the Global and European Women Inventors and Innovators Network.
Driven by a desire to further my business acumen, I pursued a Diploma in Entrepreneurship from Viðskiptasmiðjan Klak and delved into the world of behavioral economics through online courses from renowned educators like Dan Ariely of MIT and Duke University. In 2013, I proudly earned an Honor Code Certificate from the University of Toronto.
Presently, I'm passionate about empowering visitors to Iceland to express their unique identities through personalized apparel and gifts.
